Mary Gillham Project at the International Day for Biological Diversity Event, National Museum Cardiff

May 21st saw the Mary Gillham Project cross Park Place and set up a stall at the National Museum as part of it’s International Day for Biological Diversity celebrations. It also saw the unveiling of our brand spanking new logo and delicious banner with which to highlight the variety of subjects hidden within Mary’s archive.

Due to the hideous weather outside, we were busy all day long.Particularly popular were the colouring sheets and ‘make your own spotter jotter’ activities but we also talked to many people about Mary, the project and why biological recording is important.

Next event will be in Gellideg Fields on the 9th June – middle of June, Wales, outdoor… Don’t forget your sunscreen!
